I am sick I have the worst cold ever i dont't feel like doing anything. Its been three days already and i feel worse and worse each day it feel likes i'm not getting any better no matter how many medicines i take nothing is seeming to work for me. I hope i get over this cold or what ever it is i got soon

Pride Parade

On June 28, 2009 it will be the National American Gay Pride parade and i can't wait me and my girls are going and were going to have a ball. I know this because last i went and even though it rained it was still enjoyable. This year I believe it is going to be more funner because it will be more of us this year and more to do.

Lil Wayne & Lauren London

"Stop the Press, Stop the Press", Lauren and Wayne supposedly having a "baby" together this can't be I can't believe it, this can not be happening. Rapper Lil Wayne and actress Lauren London are not in a relationship as of now and will not be continuing their "5 year long off and on relationship"and will not be living together either. However, they weren't all smiles and joy about the unplanned pregnancy but they have accepted and chossen to raise their baby together. Lauren stated "She is not going to let this stop her from her working(acting) career". Good luck to the both of them and may god bless them, this is truely a shock to me as it is to everyone else i still can;t believe this.

I feel like just writing about anything because i dont really have anythig to write about because i dont have any thoughts in my mind to write about. I wonder if this happens to only me and what is it called, I don't think its a case of writers block because i dont have anything to write about that can be blocked. Ms.Griffith

Ms.Griffith she is one the very known teachers in my High School, hated by most but respected by all she still manages to make it through her days working here. I don't know how she can put up with all of the melodrama here at this school, all the students argue with her on a daily basis and feel she is a showoff or a well known bragger. I like her, i feel she is one of the teachers that will push you until you actually try to make an effort and pushes you so that you can pass and become something of yourself. Ms. Griffith the annoying, noisey, and most hated teacher in unity is good in my book.

Pretty Nicki What They Call Her

Nicki Minaj is a Jamica, Queens decent. She is signed under Lil Waynes self owned label "Young Money" she is 23 and is a female rapper. Nicki minaj or Nicki lewinski is my favorite artist she is the only female under lil waynes label. I really like this girl and i feel she is one the reatest female rappers alive, many people dont agree but i do feel this way and feel no one can change the way i feel about her and her music. Not only does she rap about getiing money and males she also rap about all the other proble,s and realities in life. Nicki minaj is really my hero.

Girls

You know how some may say "Girls, you can't live with them and you can't live without them". Well this is a comment that applys to me and the women in my life, they get on my nerves and i can't stand them but i love them all at the same time. We always go through our ups and downs but we are always there for each other stick together like paper on glue. They always telling you things that are good for you and always telling you about boys, but since you want to do things your way they words of wisdom bother you alot. You know you dont want them to go anywhere and you love them no matter what them annoying older girls in your family tell you.

Do you feel the word "Nigger" is abused to much? Well I do, and my teacher Ms.Griffith does also. She is constantly reminding students that the word is inexcusable and should not be used at all. I can tell that the word gets under her skin because every time the word is said or used to refer to a friend or fellow peer, her nose flairs and she began to yell "That is an inappropriate word. I guess being an african american and the way it was verbally used in the old days reminds her of all the negativity and mishapps of the real meaning. I don't know why this word makes so many people upset if it is used to get the attention of the young folks and not to be disrespectful. Maybe some day I would really know how it feels to be aggervated by the "Nigger" word or saying

Seeing is Believeing

You know the famous saying or quote "Seeing is Believeing" well it is so accurate and I always go by this little quote now. Some people tend to lie a lot and if you dont see the proof yourself then you shouldn't really acknowledge it but if you just so happen to see the proof yourself then you act on your own instincts instead of some one elses'. This is the case with many people but what are you supposed to do when the eyes fail you, well you get someone elses trusty eyes to do your jod for you, but only if you are there to accompany that person. As long as you see the proof yourself seeing is always believeing instead of hearsay because hearsay always seem to make problems or matters worse.

Bad-news Friends

Today I woke up and I felt and I felt it was going to be a good day. My train ride to school was long and tireing, although the train was crowded i managed to get here before second period begun. As my day progressed along fine I was sitting in my fourth period class when I recieved shocking news. One of my best girl freinds told me that a previous boyfriend was not talking kind of me, it hurt me because I had deep feelings for this boy but it seems as if he didn't feel the same. Break ups are hard but being a female we can gireve for a while but adventually get over it quick. Like my mother always told me "There are always more fish in the sea". I know I'll get over it but i just dont know when. Just like the tattoo I have he will always have a permanent place in my heart

About Me

I am Shaquana Mcleod and i attend Unity High School in Manhattan. I am 17 years old and I'm am an african american descendent, I have four siblings three brothers and one sister. Right now im in school doing nothing I'm kind of bored and i want to see something that will amuse me. Until that happens I guess I'll just tell you a little more about myself. I love my life and everyone on it. I have dreams of actually becoming somebody and achieveing many great obsticles in my life. I want to give my family and friends things to be proud of me about.
